Arts + Creativity Center Siler Yard Project
Santa Fe’s housing crisis is dire, and it’s hitting artists the hardest. The city needs 6,000 units to balance the scales, more than half of which need to be affordable housing. How do we alleviate the need for housing while serving the art community? By recruiting artists to work with architects, designers, and engineers to envision live/work spaces that can suit specific needs while catering to a wide variety of craftspeople, artists, and locals. It’s also a net zero solar powered building with a makerspace to serve a community of passionate and creative Santa Feans.
